What we collect
- Waitlist
- Your email, the language you want to practice, the language you want explanations in, and when you gave and confirmed consent.
- Schools and teams
- Your name, organization, VAT number, website, work email, type and size of organization, and the languages you teach. We use the VAT number and website only to verify that the organization exists.
- Not collected
- No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no payment details.
Why, and on what basis
To confirm your sign-up, tell you that you are on the list and email you when Parlenta opens — and, if you applied for the beta, to send you an invitation or tell you that the places are full. Also to count which languages people ask for. For schools, to reply about a pilot. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Where it is kept, and for how long
The site and the waitlist run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., USA, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework); emails are sent through Resend (Resend Inc., USA, under the same framework). Your data stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and at the latest 12 months after Parlenta opens. Sign-ups that are not confirmed are deleted after 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@parlenta.com. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
